Recovery science gets simplified twice before it reaches a general audience: once by the original researchers writing for other scientists, and again by outlets summarizing that work for readers with no background in exercise physiology. Meaning is often lost in that second translation.
For this series, the starting document is always the primary source: the peer-reviewed paper, its methods section, its stated limitations. Secondary summaries and press releases are used only to identify what might be worth covering, never as the basis for what gets said on screen.

When a topic edges toward something that requires an individual physical examination, such as distinguishing a strain from ordinary soreness, the session says so directly and points toward the kind of professional who is equipped to make that call.
Exercise physiology is an active research field, and conclusions that felt solid five years ago are sometimes revised by newer, better-controlled trials. Each session includes a short note on how confident the current evidence is, and previous material is updated in later sessions if new research meaningfully shifts the picture.
